Healthy self-esteem is based on our ability to assess ourselves accurately (know ourselves) and still be able to accept and to value ourselves unconditionally.

Self-esteem plays a role in almost everything we do. People with high self-esteem do better in school and find it easier to make friends.

While you might already have a good indication that you are suffering from low self-esteem, it might be a good idea to explore this a little further.
