The food of the 5 factor diet
The one area in which Pasternak deviates from the number five is the number of days in the week you are to follow the diet plan stricly. She calls for six out of seven days, with the seventh being a built-in cheat day, where the follower can eat anything they like from morning till night. There is some dissension in the fitness community about diets that call for such a cheat day, but it is there, and if you can stick to just one day, it will probably be okay. But let’s talk about the other six days, and what you’re supposed to be eating.
Biblical times is just a way of masking that simple common sense principal. Is there anything wrong with that? Perhaps not, but the reader should be aware of it before believing that they’ve suddenly found the magical fountain from which to drink.

So you’ve toughed it out through diet after diet with seemingly no result. You’ve reached the point where you have tried everything you can think of to lose weight. You eat healthy. You exercise regularly. You’ve attempted “fad” diets like the ones you’ve seen on TV. Short of gastric bypass surgery, you feel like you have no other option.
But there may be one simple diet that you still have not tried. So simple in its design, many people overlook the diet we will be discussing in this report – Calorie counting.
Chances are that you have heard the old adage of dieting. Calories in, calories out. That means that in order to lose weight, you have to take in fewer calories than you burn in a single day. Or you can burn more calories through exercise than you gain by eating. Either way will
work, but since we are talking diets here, we’ll stick with the first description

Welcome to our 30 Day Low Carb Diet ‘Ketosis Plan’. You can use the book as a guide to help get you started on your way should you be new to the low carb diet, or just off it for a while and in need of a specific plan to help you along the way.
Start your diet with a food diary, record everything you eat, what you were doing at the time, and how you felt. That tells you about yourself, your temptation, the emotional states that encourage you to snack and may help you lose once you see how much you eat. There are quite a few good carb counting software programs on the market today to choose from, my personal favorite is CarbTrack. A simple pad and paper works just as well, but you must keep detailed records, in order to guarantee your success.
If you are just beginning the low carb diet, limit your carb intake to the suggested rate of 20 grams a day or less over the first two weeks. After only a few days of doing this, your appetite will decrease dramatically.
