There are so many ways that our immune systems can be overwhelmed … it’s in our air, our water, our food, our workplace, our stress. This blend of organic and wild herbs is not only helpful but
comforting, strengthening and tasty.
1 part red clover blossoms
1 part nettle leaves
1 part pau d’Arco
1 part alfalfa & sage leaves
1 part St.Johns wort tops
1 part ginger root
Place all herbs in a tea ball or bag, put in your nicest or most favorite cup or mug, and cover with boiling water. Steep for 10 minutes. Remove tea ball or bag, and add sugar, honey, sweetener, milk, cream or whatever, to taste.

Title: Little Cheddar Biscuits

Servings: 8
2 c Unbleached Flour 1 ts Mustard; Dry
1 ts Paprika 1/4 ts Baking Powder
1 c Butter; Room Temperature 10 oz Cheddar; Sharp, Grated
1 ts Worcestershire Sauce
Combine the flour, dry mustard, paprika and baking powder in a medium bowl. Beat the butter, either by hand or with an electric mixer at medium speed, until light and fluffy. Slowly beat in the cheddar cheese and Worcestershire sauce. Gradually add the flour mixture, stirring with a fork, until well blended. On a lightly floured surface, shape the dough into a long roll about 1 3/4-inches in diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap or foil. Place on a platter and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, better overnight. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Slice the dough about 1/3 inch thick. With your hands, roll each slice into a ball. Flatten slightly and place on an ungreased baking sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake 8 minutes in the preheated oven. Biscuits will only brown slightly on the bottom.

Alexander Espresso
Ingredients:
• 1 cup Cold water
• 2 tb Ground espresso coffee
• ½ Cinnamon stick (3″ long)
• 4 ts Crème de Cacao
• 2 ts Brandy
• 2 tb Whipping cream, chilled
• Grated semisweet chocolate to garnish
How To:
Break out your espresso machine for this one or just make really strong coffee with a small amount of water. Break cinnamon stick into small pieces and add to hot espresso. Allow to cool for 1 minute. Add crème de cacao and brandy, and stir gently. Pour into cute demitasse cups. Whip the cream, and float some cream on top of each cup. For looks, garnish with grated chocolate or fancy chocolate curls. Multiply proportions by six and it’s perfect for a party. Serves 2

Watermelon Barbecue Sauce
1 - 6 Pound Seedless Watermelon chunk
8 Ounces Tomato Paste
1 Tablespoon Onion Powder
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
2 Cups Firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 Cup Sherry
2 Teaspoons Lemon juice
1 Teaspoon Liquid smoke
Cut the melon into pieces and place in a saucepan. Cook it uncovered over medium heat until the melon is the consistency of applesauce (approximately 2?3 hours). Stir it occasionally. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer uncovered over low heat for 2 hours. Allow to cool to room temperature before using.
